Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a ministry offered at St. Rose of Lima that provides Level I (ages 3-6) and Level II (ages 7-10).

CGS is a reflective-based approach to religious formation that helps a child to further develop his/her relationship with God in a developmentally appropriate way. It is rooted in Sacred Scripture, the Liturgy, and the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori. CGS takes place in the Atrium, which is a specially designed learning environment designed to meet the developmental needs of the children and provide a beautiful space to share in the process of discovering the Word of God together. CGS meets twice a month after the 8:30am Mass at St. Rose.
